to be fair, the cf isn't stock and added 0.3 oz to each stab, so a weight penalty of 0.6oz
cummulative savings = 46.4oz :tu::tu:
excellent! :d

Re: BBT Lightened 43% Edge w/ Piped ZDZ180

First job this morning was to get the stabs out from under the 300lbs of cement blocks and edge trim them

They turned out ultra-straight

I'm dying here

We were supposed to drive home tomorrow. Giving me a few solid days of building before having to go back to work.
My wife wants to stay another day with her dad. So only leaving Friday now.

I am going through serious withdrawls here

Re: BBT Lightened 43% Edge w/ Piped ZDZ180

9 hours of exciting sanding completed

All four skins were sanded as follows...
- 150 grit
- 220 grit
- 320 grit
- 400 grit
- hairspray to stiffen the grain
- 600 grit to cut the grain
- tack cloth

In total, 28% of the skin was sanded off. This has become my target and seems to work out very close each time using all the steps above. I've done a few builds at 15%, Wingburner's Extra 330 was ~30% and I've gone as high as 40% on my Ultralight 40% Edge. At 28% removed, this is about an extra 0.75oz/skin saving over stock or 3oz for both wings!!!

Cummulative Savings = 49.4oz

To keep the dust down, I hooked up a fan and furnace filter on the suction side - what a help

WOOT - This step is done
