Re: New MAAC website is up

There are still a few dead links and buttons.

These should become active as the day goes on.

Looks great!

And my online account is working good now, including the password reset...had a heck of time trying to renew my membership this year.

Looks awesome Brad! Can't wait to see it fully functional, but a great ( and needed) change for the better

Re: New MAAC website is up

Nice look... clean and responsive.

One question - will we still eventually have access to the docs and publications (eg. policies, etc.) that were on the old site?

Thanks,
J

Re: New MAAC website is up

Thanks guys.
The board will like hearing the positive support.

I can' t take any credit for the new site. That goes to Peter Schaffer from Manitoba and the web developer.
There are still some areas that need to go live and connect to the MAAC database. The different modules will come on line over the next 3 weeks .

Then the communication team and myself get to take over and start adding some Bling

There will be video links
Twitter and Facebook Links

we are developing a media page and media package for newspapers and TV.
Lots of stuff to come

If your clubs have Facebook pages. Get those links into myself or Chris Malcomnson. Or you can connect through the MAAC Facebook page.
Also each Zone is creating a Facebook page

The Zone L Facebook page should be up and running by next week. So start getting pictures and cool items gathered up that can be added.

Re: New MAAC website is up

wow, just wow. This site is 20 years more current that the old one. Well done

only suggestion I have is to combine the Zones/clubs tabs into one tab as they are closely related. Then you can have a tab just for RC disciplines drop down list (scale, aerobatics, racing, soaring, helicopters, fpv, etc), so folks can surf right to what genre of model flying they are interested in right away.

and our club is missing from Zone H: Pacwest RC Flyers Society http://www.pwrcfs.com/
