Sorry to hear that Jim. Sounds like your boss is worse than Andrews' lol.

You gotta make some of the contests anyway. We need you there! Won't be the same without ya. It is hard to schedule events when you don't even know when your going to be on call. Well there are benefits to being retired after all!

NOIC

Lee and I appreciate all the commitment
I will have to book a day off to travel to any S Ont events
Thinking of Chatham and London - the summer is just about full now, with local fun fly's and trying to break into IMAC stuff

I have indicated to Craig that barring any major budget cuts in the new year, part of my MAAC zone promotion budget(which is far from huge!) will be used to provide a significant prize or raffle item for the event too..........Im working with a couple of distributors and manufacturers to see what can be developed.

I think the 'super prize' is being donated for the other sponsors! But excludes anyone with more than 3000 posts here!

Good show Mr. McGrath, that's mighty generous of ya!

Kevin has done quite a bit helping the Northern Ontario Clubs out with decent goodies for each club's annual event. :Tthe major prizes will be handled similar to the way we / I do the Sault's fun fly.
Although the NOIC will have rewards for placing in the top three in each class - draws willbe held for the real good stuff.

Lee and I are going to meet later this month and work out the finer points :coffee:

Way to go craig!

I think that is the fairest way... course I could be biased... haviing come in dead last in Basic at my first contest last year!

Seriously though I think that may encourage a lot more participation. Especially if the super prizes are things like a new radio, like Randy had at his London contest!

Like I said I might just book the time off now so they HAVE to schedule around me instead of the other way around!... Now what where those dates again?.. Man gota go back 8 pages to se...
