I have been told to fiberglas the joint where the two wing halve meet. I am curious as to other peoples thought on this. If you suggest doing this suggestions as to weight of fiberglass cloth to use, width of strip and if to use fiberglassing resin or just epoxy.

The width of the strip should be just wider than the wing saddle. This will provide a hard seat on the wing and prevent the fuselage from wearing its way into the sheeting.

Use no heavier than 6 oz cloth. For maximum strength use epoxy resin, not glue. lay the cloth on with the weave at 45deg to the chord. this way all of the strands contribute to the strength, not just the spanwise ones.
