hello guys ,,its nice to notice that the days are getting a lot longer in a real hurry and that sun is starting to work its magic

i took a e-glider out the other day in the sun and thermaled a fair bit,i was flying near a water tower [wine glass shape] which was on top of a large hill,,there was no wind, big bouyant air anywhere near the tower,,,wow what a treat and im sure to be back there soon

im getting real excited about getting out my new fleat of gliders

-in the last month i have built two skimmer 400,THL zagi, and put my 4 star 40 [slimer] on floats

heres a pic of my zagi handlaunch with aerotow release in the nose [should be interesting]

WHAT ABOUT YOU?? come on guys, show your pics, lets get the blood flowing and be ready to welcome the coming season

I got a soaring video through ebay last month. Getting very anxious to try out some of the techniques they show. I learned a bunch of things about thermal soaring from it. No one in my area does any thermalling so it's like shooting in the dark trying to catch a thermal. Hopefully I'll have better luck this year. We have an active slope soaring group and that is a lot of fun. We have an awesome site near Halifax. BTW, I'm flying a 2m Sig Riser. Once I get the hang of it I'll get something a bit more efficient.

Cheers!

Hey soarest neck, have you towed your zagi yet? What are you using for a tow plane? How about a close up pic of you tow release.
Sounds like alot of fun. Let us know how you make out. Later, Trevor

2 planes

hello jim,no your not looking at 2 planes,i used the wing beds that come with the zagi to make a case for my zagi similiar to a guitar case,i thought it made sence, rather than throw them out?

aerotowing the zagi is about a week away and im sorry i cant show a picture of the nose release because its covered buy the tape but i used a aerotow release sold by hobby lobby in the sailplane section
