Anybody know or willing to guess what tires work well on this track?
Indoor clay tires?

How big is the track?

I was told Step Pin/Goose Bump/Bowtie.

They just added a bunch of clay to the track the other day though and tamped it, so maybe throw some smaller pin tires in the bag if you have them (holeshot/double dee and taper pin?). Unless they compacted it with a roller and soaked the crap out of it, I'll assume the track will probably blow out with the amount of entries even with the new clay.

Abiye 4th (4wd)
Tom 8th (4wd), B main for 2wd
JB B main for 2wd
Ryan Luna 3rd in B main for open short course
I was 5th (4wd), C main for 2wd
John won B main for 2wd

The track was about as far from what we are used to as we can get. VERY loamy surface, tight, and rutted. The track was very easy on tires and Mike Maunders, and Keven do an excellent job running the track and club. They have a great club and club following, and were on local TV promoting the race as well. I was very impressed as to how well they ran the races, and how many racers turned up for the race.

Would I go back? Yes, most definately. I'd just leave my small pin tires at home, and pack boxing gloves. Being a tight, and very loamy track made for some rather interesting racing.

2nd in the B actually (crash off the quad lost me the lead and then Eric Dechenne racing me even though I was lapping him cost me any chance of getting it back...lost by 1.5 seconds). Matt drove a great race to win and bump to the show.

Needed more track time. I was chasing set up all through qualifying as the racing surface was quite different. Could have really used Friday's practice, but it wasn't in the cards. Fun weekend though.
