Hey man, Trojan will not be boring for you, but if you want, get the airframe instead, and put a 15 in it for some extra power. They fly really well on it, and touch and goes are the best part of the trojan. Really helps you with landings.
The Extra you could do but it would be a bigger step up than say a Pulse 25e.
That's a really good next plane for you, if you wanted something that flies more like a balsa plane. The Acromaster that was mentioned is pretty good too, but the pulse has a really good wing, and slows down very nice. Plus a little bit of a build for you to get started with too.
