Hi Peter

Only when the time is right.

I'll call you after Superman. I'm probably away the weekend after Superman, but we'll arrange a time.

Jets

Ed- I hope one of your mystery models is a Trim F86???? You guys will love this little jets performance on MW-54... Also what about a twin turbine Facet 2300?? would sorta look like an A-6 with a little Simjet under each wing...

Jim, Re- MB339 weight is 13.5 lb with the final clear coat still to apply.

Dean Re- SM03. TJT will definetely be there along with FTE...
I personally will not be attending unfortuetely this years event as work here at home and back in Australia will keep me away on the road for the next couple of months... But I look forward to catching up with you and the GNM crew at FJ04 for sure....Have fun at Superdude 03!

Re- MB339 We did not get the chance to maiden the MB339 last weekend unfortunetely as the weather was not to friendly (rain/wind) hopefully can try again this weekend coming.

-Cheers

Geez!

Myles- I think it must have rained every day in the last two weeks eh!
Its been just too damp for spraying the clear top coat on the MB339, so I am brushing the final epoxy clear coat. So far looking very nice, just have to do wings and she will be done...

Brushing...WOW!

Man, can't even spray paint very good! Of course I always use spray bombs though! hehehe
Hey buddy, i've been looking over that Mig 25 and it was actually built really well. I got some good ideas for the flying stab and wingspar that should work reall good!

Brushing

Myles Re- brushing... Only with epoxy paints due to slow cure time, It works great. To achieve good results make sure you use only very high quality and very soft bristle paint brushs to avoid shedding bristle syndrome and the brush marks...

Re- Mig 25 If you can sort out that spar set-up the rest is pretty easy... :P
have you got that Roo ready with new mount?

bad weather??? I moved up to the great white north, and it has been hot and sunny for the past week...(I know I'll pay for this remark many times over in a few months....)
My models arrived yesterday, so I will have to see if I can get my thumbs limbered up this weekend...........

Website

Peter,
I just checked the link to your website and I have to say what you did with FS 2002 is very cool! How does your cockpit work?
I would really like to talk about your setup sometime!
Marty,
Going to Home Depot tomorrow to do some shopping for home (and get some screws to mount the new 3000 strap on the Roo )
Two minutes worth of work and I'll be done.
Do you think the "Snowbird" will be ready on Saturday for it's test hop? I'll give you a buzz sometime Saturday hopefully around noon.
Myz

Sure Marty, we can discuss anytime you like.
The cockpit works very well, and I used to spend a lot of time flying on line as well with Royal Virtual Airlines. There is an add on to allow you to view all the pilots on line as well and you could where you are relative to the others around the world.
We also had voice communication for take-off clearance etc from the people who are on line acting as ATC.

I spend less time on it these days, which is good since it allows me to build and fly RC.

Regards
Peter
