Servos shouldn't matter, as they are just motors. Mixing rx and tx brands is never suggested unless it's recommended by the manufacturer. If I were you I'd get a new receiver.
I just reread your post, and see everything but the receiver is JR, so get a JR compatible receiver. There are some aftermarket receivers designed to work with JR if you want to save a few dollars. Hitec is a common one, and I've recently purchased an Expert 650 for a park flyer I have. I saved about 25% by getting the Expert. Your setup may be compatible, but I'm doubtful. Good luck Mike |

JR and Airtronics are both positive shift radio systems and the Airtronics FM rx will work fine with a JR tx (FM) on the same frequency.
If you have any other questions just send me a PM. Ron |

Just to clarify a bit more here guys, if you were to go to your favorite hobby shop and order a Hitec receiver for your Airtronics OR JR FM system they would be one and the same and state that right on the receiver.
Be aware though that their crystals ARE NOT interchangeable between the brands. JR xtals only in JR receivers, Airtronics rx and Airt. crystals and the same goes for Hitec. One exception seems be Futaba and Hitec, I know there are guys interchanging Rx crystals in that case although it is not recommended. As always, of course, do a good range test whether mixing the brands or not. Ron |

You didn't state "Z" at the end of the number. The airtronics brand prior to Z (blue color) is not compatible relating to the plugs. The wiring in the plugs is different. Airtronics finally went to plug compatible standards but those have blue ends and the receivers are blue.
You can move wires around in servo plugs but I wouldn't bother. |

crystals
Just to jump in and further complicate things: You can mix JR crystals with Futaba receivers, but the Futaba receiver has to be one of the single conversion versions. The JR xtal won't work with the DC Futaba Rx's

I know at one time I could get adapters that were simply a short extention that changed the wires from the original Airtronics to the JR (common) polarity. I used MANY airtronics recievers with my JR transmitter.
