Rush 700-750
Well I have been talking about this one for quite some time now and have finally purchased one for myself as my main 3D monster.I plan on travelling to several funfly events this season and will be flying the Rush as a 700 size heli using the new Hacker V3 450 kv motor with power being supplied from the Castle Creations 160HV esc.
I have just started the assembly of it and am very impressed with the quality of the main components thus far Last edited by Jimmy P; 02-11-2014 at 10:50 PM. Reason: adding photo's |

Re: Rush 700-750
Terry I am retired so I have a fare amount of time to tinker. I am really fired up about this helicopter and am hoping to have it ready for when the weather breaks. I'll have my parts from TheHeliFarm.com hopefully thursday so I have a chance of having it ready for testing as earily as saturday. Then it's up to the weather.

Re: Rush 700-750
Ordered up my 450 kv Hacker V3 and also the new CC 160HV esc and well as Rotortech 710 blades, all from thehelifarm, everything is starting to come together on it now. I was trying to decide on the stretch or not and decided this combo will work excellent for me with either setup with a simple pinion gear change, "sweet" if I need to go bigger I can with no issues of needing a different motor.
Stay tuned Kevin it won't be long now. The last thing to purchase will be lipo's I have to decide which ones first before I order them, i'll let you know which ones I decide on in a week or two, cheers Jimmy. |

Re: Rush 700-750
Metal torque tube housing. That's nice. Looks like a great frame.

Re: Rush 700-750
Hey Stewart , yes it is designed very well, I can hardly wait for spring to try it out. My goodies should arrive tuesday - wednesday ish, and then I am on the home stretch to finishing it up. I really like the sliding motor mount system as well , quite easy to change gear ratio's if you want to change things up a bit.

Re: Rush 700-750
Jimmy, nice to look at another type of build other than the Align that I seem to be focused on. I might have to branch out someday. Looking Good!!!

Re: Rush 700-750
Cyclo it came from" TheHelifarm.com " Which is in Alberta. Great place to deal, lots of models in stock to choose from, parts are all in stock for these one's. I saw this model at the release time and new right then I'd be getting one!!! Parts prices are very affordable as well.
