Funtana 90 and a Magnum 1.08 ?

Any significant flight differences between the 40 sized and 90 sized Funtanas?

yes night and day. Well mabey not that much but the 40 flys like a 40 size plane but the 90 flys like a much bigger plane than it is. for 3d and not lame minimum 1.20 2c 1.40 4c. In my opinion a 1.2 4c does not give enough vertical to pull away from a hover when you are learning. The better the vertical the lower you can try things. It's hard to learn to tork roll when the plane is 150 ft above you. Really trying to learn 3d takes alot of near misses and you put yourself and plane at a huge disadvantge by being under powered.

I finally got my new plane

I looked at the Twist and decided it would get old and boring fast. I looked at the Funtana and although it is a very popular plane - it is boxy, has some very obvious weakpoints to the airframe structure, and looks like it wouldn't last my interest all that long either.

I really wanted to go with the Goldberg Matrix but I couldn't find one very easily. So, I settled with something very similar. The Lanier Razor 3D.

Here is a good page showing the Razor. The pictures are great. This is the color scheme that I purchased.

I am going to use either the Irvine 53 or the 90 four stroke depending on where the balance point comes out to when I get everything else mounted in the airframe.

I am looking forward to getting this one up in the air!

When I've got the Razor wore out, my next one will will be either a 120 sized Edge or the Funtana90.

Thank you everyone for your input. You've been most helpful.
