yes.. anything red is a hopup..
I was talking with Dave at legnth last week, and he is VERY VERY impressed with this buggy so far (as he has mentioned above)
He has been in regular contact with Saxton about the race preps for the buggy, and they are both working hard to get the best setup...

This thing will rock.. I'm trying to decide if my home renovation budget includes an ttr.. lol

hop ups

Yup the red bits are hop ups. The car looks very strong stock but I like the shiny parts!
Actually things like the stronger front tower and the metal arms mounts are nice insurance for those shunts during long mains.
Just thought I would mention that some of the parts that are stock on this car are considerred hop ups on comparably priced buggies from other manufacturers like:
-the awesome fibre brakes, I fing these to much more driveable than metal brakes with paper type brake pads, these can be modulated MUCH better
-adjustable turnbuckles all around
-full universals including the center drives
-metal wing mount posts
-carbon fibre radio plate, front upper plate and centre diff plate
-upgrade quality chassis included
-3 shoe racing clutch included
-and many more
This kit stock is on par with most other manufactures offerrings that sell for way more, I know because we sell them also in our shop (Pinnacle Hobby).
Can you tell I am impressed by this car?!
Hey I changed my paint scheme for this car, what do you guys think?

Well, I picked one up after seeing the fully loaded one JPH had for display. Now I know what I have to look forward to once the weather gets warmer. I don't think I can wait that long
