The attendance exceeded our wildest expectations. On behalf of the Strathcona Radio Control Flyers Association, I'd like to thank all the pilots - especially those from out of town who did some major driving to get here; all the club voluteers for their tireless efforts to ensure things ran as smoothly as possible thoughout the event; the spectatotors who came to enjoy watching various types of model airplanes, and finally to Great Hobbies for arranging and supplying the huge pile of pilots prizes.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. This event was probably two to three times the size of anything we have ever done before..it was a lot of work, but the positive feedback makes it all worthwhile....

This was one of the Food bank benefitted from the GWFF in a big way...this is one half of the donations collected over the weekend.
