I am going to bet purchasing this plane shortly and am wondering if you need to buy low profile servos for the ailerons or not? Would rather get it all at once than have to wait if this is so. Also anyone that has bought and assembled this plane please chime in with tips or suggestions.

Just decided to check out the world models website to see if i could awnser my own question and it looks to me like there is only one aileron servo for all four ailerons? Anyone have a comment on this?

You can try giving ripdivot (Jeff) a PM. I think he has put two together. Very nice Plane! Treecutter (Chris) would also know.

g-man and flyboy - Jeff's username is ripdivit, not ripdivot. It could easily be that one servo drives both lower ailerons through torque rods like many sport planes and the upper ailerons are driven by links from the TE of the lower ailerons. I have a House of Balsa Pitts S2A kit and that is how it is designed.

Ya i believe i witnessed the death of his first one at the funfly last spring. Seeing the workmanship of the plane and how nicely it flew was what really got me interested in the first place. I just sent Ripdivit a PM.
