I find some wired thing that most batteries in Canada are made in china, and they have XT40 plugs. A guy in RC shop told that people always move the XT40 plug and change it into T plug(I dont what is the name in canada, but in china, we call it T plug. look the picture).He says that the XT40 are popular in china, but the thing is,I can barely see them in china..! I am pretty confused about what kind of do you really use in canada? for batteries like 3S 1800MAH.

XT60 or EC3 seem to be what I have seen the most . It all depends on your preference or amperage that will be flowing through the connectors. I fly planes that are under 60 amps so EC3 or XT60 works for me as they are good for up to 60amp.

Just to add. The connector you showed is a Dean connector The T connectors are from Hobby King as shown below and the ones I use. They are much of a personal preference thing, although if your club members are predominantly one, that's the one to go with, as the charger connectors etcbecome more of a standard.. The yellow ones that come on many HK batts are the XT60s and are very popular too..

I use JST connectors for small 2s power planes. XT60 for larger planes and I don't have anything that needs more than 60 amps.

When I first started I used deans or t connectors. They are a pain to solder and are tricky to disconnect without pulling on the cables.

I was/have been using T connectors and stripping the XT60's off of the HK packs but now that they have premade conversions for a couple of dollars, anywhere there is space in a model I will just plug a converter adapter into the packs XT60 and carry on!

I use a different connector for different voltages and capacities.
Micro deans for 1000mah and less. (Mine are all 3s)
Deans for 3s 2000-5000mah
EC5 for 4s 2000-5000mah
