The North American Aerospace Defense Command was on the verge of scrambling F-16 fighter jets to intercept the helicopter when operators regained control of the chopper after 20 minutes.

Maybe "SKYNET", The North American Aerospace Defense Command's computer network, is becoming "self aware" and is testing the military's responses.

We do not have AI in the military yet, I guess as far as the public is aware of... Sucks to be human if they are.
