LOL! Even a Cover-All canopy would probably cost a hundred grand to put up over the track (not including the sides)....not worth it with the drainage they have there. Alabama has nicer year round weather.

Jeez John, didn't you notice the big smilies at the end....lol

Damn southern states and their year round nice weather. I'd love to be able to run year round.

Nice set up though. Really like the big windows and natural light.

The funny thing is, I think Joe actually looked into it but the cost was just too crazy.

I think he had mentioned in another thread some time ago something about 50 grand for a roof over the track

Probably more. We have a Cover All here at work that is only 60' x 60' and it was $55k.

All they have to do is bump up the race fees to $1000 per person  and they will have the mony in one race day (asuming that the normal 100+ people show up).

Nice

You guys are really funny. It would cost a minimum of $300,000.00 to cover the track with a Cover-All not including any end walls. That's 100 by 200 area only and not including pitting area. so a decent size facility with ends and extra pitting area for winter usage would be about half a million for a first class place. Who wants to start the fund raising
