Just waiting to board the plane in Edmonton --- crazy 2.5h delay on AirCanada

The 18 rolls of covering made it into the suitcase!... Covering to begin Saturday night after some flying with Mr Marcotte Sat afternoon.

See you Friday night Brad for some sheeting action!!

Cheers

SWEET! But shouldn't somethin called a King Ranch at least be sportin dooleys?

The 450 is sick it's just a Big Rig in puberty!

Course my dream vehicle is a 6 wheel drive Duece and a Half. I thought they were all gone but when I was in Edmonton last weekend I noticed the local Armoury had a stockpile of a modern day Duece and a Halfs! GO ARMY er ah I mean AIRFORCE of course... but they do have cool trucks!

Jack.. News Alert.... Troy Built Models is having a Black Friday Sale. you can be the proud owner of a ZDZ 420 QUAD for only US$ 3200.00.... pennies compared to the F350!

I am going to start building a 42% Miles Reed Challenger in a couple of weeks. I've never built a kit before so it should be interesting. This is a great thread and it should keep me motivated now I see how easy it is to build. LOL How did that glue work out over all?

Great to hear that your going to give a build a try... it's lots of work, but IMO so rewarding to do a build! Just take your time and think each step through - pretty simple!!! Plus, with the amount of time invested, the maidens are significantly more nerve-racking and more of an adrenaline rush!!!!

The fast-curing super-aliphatic glue from Volegsang Aeroscale? - phenominal!!! That being said, I do find it a little tougher to sand than a Titebond wood glue, so for any sheeting, I'm still edge gluing with Titebond.

For the rest, the fast-drying glue is the answer!... I have 2 more bottles on the way from Vogelsang and plan to use it in my Carden builds going forward for things like the fuse structure, etc!

Good luck with the build!

F450 dually...creme de' la creme for sure but they're useless in my application...No good in the mud!!!! Don't need the extra load carrying capacity either...My truck is good for 11400 lbs. GVW.

Wish I lived a bit closer to Edm. and Calcary, would have been nice to meet up with and Trevor.

I guess we should get back to what this thread is about!!

Wait a minute!! Trev has a new set of "hot wheels" he should tell us about...
