I am going to start building a 42% Miles Reed Challenger in a couple of weeks. I've never built a kit before so it should be interesting. This is a great thread and it should keep me motivated now I see how easy it is to build. LOL How did that glue work out over all?

Plus, with the amount of time invested, the maidens are significantly more nerve-racking and more of an adrenaline rush!!!! The fast-curing super-aliphatic glue from Volegsang Aeroscale? - phenominal!!! That being said, I do find it a little tougher to sand than a Titebond wood glue, so for any sheeting, I'm still edge gluing with Titebond. For the rest, the fast-drying glue is the answer!... I have 2 more bottles on the way from Vogelsang and plan to use it in my Carden builds going forward for things like the fuse structure, etc! Good luck with the build! T |
