Open date for GreatHobbies-Ottawa?
'Lo all...was just wondering if anyone has heard of an opening date yet for Great Hobbies new shop in Ottawa? All I've heard so far is 'This Fall' ...

From what I've heard, it's supposed to open near the end of this month. I was chatting with Dave on Saturday but forgot to check with him.

got an email saying the store opens 10am Saturday Nov 13 in the trainyards and they posted a photo of the inside of the store - I can see store manager Dave Rees stacking shelves -

I agree with BB...we have a couple of good smaller hobby shops, but good thing we don't have a large store close by... the wife would never see me again!!

I love going to Ottawa. It's our favourite city to visit.
If I go to the opening I won't have any money left for my vacation. Hmmmm??????????? Tough choices to make. 4 months in Arizona or more R/C stuff? Maybe I can find a way to do both. I'll certainly visit the store when we go to Ottawa. Drop the wife at the National Gallery and then off to Great Hobbies. |

Big day had no PST/GST - Included on items ordered on same day. I bet Dave Ress and the rest of staff were exhausted by end of day 6pm
