I've got the beauty of all beauties for sale... a 3W210CSTS with canister exhaust for sale!!

History

I bought this motor off of a fellow on Flying Giants this past summer for my upcoming 58% Pitts S1 build. The motor is still on break-in and has 2 gallons of fuel through it.

I have only run this motor once on my test stand (see attached video) and burnt 1L of 32:1 fuel through it. It is an absolute monster with an incredible sounding, super quiet exhaust note, minimal vibration and torque that is truely amazing!! You can see from the video the incredible spool-up using a Menz 34x12 prop!!

The engine is in mint condition, except for a bit of paint off the edge of 2 cylinder fins - see picture (the original owner scraped the 50% Cub cowl on the fins while he was removing the motor to ship it to me. They are not bent - just scraped.)

The canisters are dent-free and could easily be polished to a brilliant gleam. The headers are brand new and only used once by me during my run on the test stand!!

Reason for the sale:

It's a dumb reason, but now that I've experienced 4-cylinder engines, if I sell this motor, I will get a 220cc or potentially a 320cc 4-cylinder powerplant for my Pitts.

What an engine and we all know 3W is king when it comes to torque where it matters. Wish I had an aircraft that required 200cc. What an incredible deal !!

Jack - you're bang on!!! This engine is still rich, on 32:1 oil and super tight (they say that 3Ws take at least 10 gallons to be broken in and this is only on gallon #2) and I was blown away how it spun up that monstrous 34x12 prop!!

Once broken in, I would guess that it will spin a 34x14 without any problem and would be a killer combo on a 42% or 43% plane!!
