Re: Top Flite 182 kit
Umm Charles, does that mean we're supposed to say, "hey this kit sucks, so hurry up and buy it?" lol I don't think that would help your cause, and as Len states, that woud be a lie, it is a fantastic kit.

Re: Top Flite 182 kit
OK , OK the only thing that is negative ; is you have to build it. Not for those lazy guys that want the ARF scene. LOL... I am guilty of that also. But with a good build you have that satisfaction that you won't get from a kit.
Forgot to mention this is electric and tons of reliable power...Around 2000 watts on 6S. Had to use a 16 inch prop for clearance as the motor will turn 18-20 inch but no room Last edited by stegl; 04-30-2015 at 06:29 PM. |

Re: Top Flite 182 kit
Nope, that ain't much of a negative either, as far as I'm concerned. Got a Mick Reeves 1/4.1 Strutter plan set spread out on the table right now. 96", will be electric too.

Re: Top Flite 182 kit
Electric? Batteries are for powering receivers, glow drivers, and electronic ignitions. What is this electric power you speak of? lol Someone buy this kit quick, and rescue it from a horrible fate of being laughed at by all the nitro and gas planes!

Re: Top Flite 182 kit
What an ugly 182 with all that motor needed to equate to an aerodynamically clean and powerfull electric front end that looks more like the scale part ; rather than have cylinder heads and mufflers cutting up that beautiful cowl and hanging out like one of those beer bellies ... LOL Progress my man ; progress !~
