Another great turnout this week. We had some more new visitors this week including Nick Reger and Shawn Richards. Chet and Fred Kelsey also made the trip again. Thanks to everyone for spending the day with us. Now to the racing!

2WD Buggy
---------
Chet Kelsey continued the Canadian domination of 2WD buggy setting TQ each round and the only one to make 19 laps. Justin Williams qualified 2nd and Zach Myers stepped up his game to qualify 3rd. Dan Black also made the A main his first week out this season in 2WD. Scott Cimato won the B main with Milkman a close second (Milk 2 – Fred 1.) The A main saw Chet loose the lead early to Justin. Chet took back 1st and held Justin off the rest of the race to take the win. Dan Black finished 3rd (so much for needing time to get back into 2WD.)

4WD Open
--------
Another great turnout in 4WD. Dan Bach took TQ away from Dennis Heims in the final round with Cory Pulliam coming back out strong and qualifying 3rd. Mark Stetzel won both the C and B mains to bump into the A and take this week’s “Bump Up King” award. Dave Craiglow finished the C main in 2nd. Mark and Rick Siiller had a good back-and-forth battle in the B main. With Dan Bach not able to make the main Justin Williams jumped out to an early lead and held onto it for the whole race to take the win. Rick Redmin slowly worked his way thru the field with steady driving to take 2nd and Dennis Heims was able to hold onto 3rd.

Stadium Truck
-------------
Stadium truck gets stronger every week. Dan Bach set TQ in the final round being the only one with 19 laps. Tom Heims qualified 2nd with Cory Pulliam close behind in the 3rd position. Anthony Muscato won the C main with Kevin McNerny taking second. Dennis Heims won the B main but he and his brother couldn’t both drive the same car in the A so Anthony Muscato took the bump up. Shawn Richards was close behind to take 3rd. In the A main it didn’t take Cory Pulliam long to get back into stadium truck and he was able to get around Tom Heims for 1st half way into the race and hold on for the win. Rick Redmin finished 3rd and Anthony took 4th.

Slash
-----
Slash class saw some new drivers including Tom Heims with his SPC Batteries powered car. Kevin Siller was able to hold off Zack Myers to take TQ by less than 1 sec. with Tom Heims getting his car dialed and qualifying 3rd. 8 cars made the main and there was some good side by side racing. Tom Heims and Bill Gumbert had the back-and-forth battle of the day for 1st with Tom taking the lead from Bill in the last few laps and winning. Jim Mazurek had an impressive race and beat Kevin Siller by 8/10 sec. to take 3rd.

Notes from the day
------------------
The friendly atmosphere in the pits continues to make Glenwood one of the nicest places to race. Thanks to everyone for making it so enjoyable. Everyone cooperated to make the show run like clockwork. It was good to see Bill Defranco with a stadium truck and getting into electric racing. Dave Craiglow continues to improve each week. Cory Pulliam and Dan Black both made impressive debuts with their first weeks out this season. We’ll miss Fred and Chet Kelsey in the weeks to come and hope they can make it back soon with more of our Northern friends. All of the Slash driver getting into race mode made for some great racing. I’m still impressed with how competitive and how much of a bargain these trucks are out of the box. Thanks again to everyone and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

It's always fun coming down and racing with you guys. You don't know how lucky you are to have a place to race. It turns out we might be able to make it down again in a couple of weeks(I will have to cancel a get together to make it) You sure have a great bunch of guys down there.

Thanks
Fred and Chet
