Tried the RCSPEEDO app with our HTG L-39 today. It works perfectly registering 95mph with the wind and 75mph into wind making an average of 85mph (140Km/hr) in level flight! A must have for all you iphone/itouch owners!

Are you using it with an Ipod or Iphone? I wonder if the mic in the Ipod is as good as the Iphone?

My sons Itouch is a 4th gen with built in microphone. It works well as long as there isn't too much ambient noise. The first time we tried it, there was a lawnmower nearby and it wouldn't register but with one plane flying by it's great! Will do more testing on our other EDF's later this week.

You can also hold it to the speaker of your computor and check the speeds of videos posted.

Good, that what my son have the 4th gen. I will get it. I always use the computer version and I like it. I compare it to my Eagle tree GPS in no wing condition and it always close.
