Re: horus mixing

Have you tried googling the question as something might come up on RCgroups or Rcuniverse or one of the many other help sites ?

Re: horus mixing

First Method:

Under Inputs, name Channel 5 as Brake.
Under Mixes Select "Brake Input" and assign it to any switch you want, and set it to 75 (Weight)
Copy the same Mix and put it below the original line, set the weight to 100 then select go to the switch selection and select any slider you want.

If you do this, your 2 position switch will be your 0 - 75, and your Slider will go from 0 to 100 percent.

Or.

Preferred Method:
Under Inputs, name Channel 5 as Brake.
Go to your mix page, and select the "Brake" option and under the switch selection, select a slider.

Then go to the Special Function section, and put in a special function override that selects channel 5, Select your switch, select your switch position (up or down) and select the override value when the switch is on...

I prefer the 2nd method.

Re: horus mixing

I understand.

So under FRTX it works like OpenTx.

You have to select a channel and name it, then assign that channel to a slider.

Next you can go to Special Functions, and select the same channel, and select "override' and then put 75% override.

Re: horus mixing

You do not need to name it.

Just select channel 5 from the and assign it to a slider.

Plug your brake into channel 5 on your receiver.

Next go to special functions and select any free spot, select what switch you want to use.
Then select override then select the channel you want to override then set a value of 75

The first version is my preferred method, but either would work simply and elegantly.

No need to get too fancy.
