The claim is still in progress. At this point I am giving them every opportunity to make good on it.

Basically a much heavier crate was loaded on top of it, and crushed it somewhat causing cracks in the wing root. Thanks for your concern..

Finished building the tamjets F-16 after a very late start.

For those of you following the story, the package was damaged by UPS. In spite of clear evidence of gross mis-handling, improper loading and handling methods, they refused to accept any responsibility for the carelessness of their staff, and denied the damge claim. I've been in the industry for 23 years, so I know that ocasionally some damage is inevitable, however, you try to make good to the customers on both ends - especially when the package has been obviously mishandled. UPS's repsonse was to bury their heads in the sand and totally ignor their customer's concerns (now ex-customers!! )

Not too pleased with this outcome...the only thing I can do is to warn others not to use UPS if they have viable alternatives available........

I'll start a new (happier) thread on the completed F-16....
