I find that it takes me about 20 minutes to assemble and test my plane before the first flight of the day.

Does anyone have a slick system that has worked over time that engages the wing and or flap servo connectors automatically when the wing halves are connected to the fuselage?

Now that the days are getting short I need all the help I can get.

On a happier note I finally took the SuperBandit up for a good rip. Low pass at about 250 MPH is a heck of a rush. This plane rocks!

Check the sailplane guys...they use some sort of interface to connect 3+ servos in each (very thin) wing......

I don't think I'd want to rely on an interface to handle even my prop driven airplanes. I'd rather take the time to make the connections myself. I'd think that any type of contact connector would have a possibility to vibrate loose.

Would it not be practical to install a seperate receiver in the wing? I've thought of doing this in my twin i'm building, but I'm not sure if there would be any issues with interference.

A set up like this would give you some sort of redundancy in the event of a receiver or battery problem, wouldn't it?

Hi Peter

For the time you'll save, the "things to go wrong index" will have increased substantially. I'd just keep the leads a good length so that their easy to connect and label them so that you have to double check everytime.
