we were outside in my back yard, it was a little overcast, so i was thinking that might be part of it, but i would have thought it would have screwed up the no's on both exhaust's not just the one.

You could also buy ss 604 from princess auto in 5' length's rolled up. You can cut and roll then spot weld or silver solder to what you want. They have .005 to .030 and I use the lighter for ehaust stacks.
