Haven't been able to get into the air with the weather being what it has been(had a couple others to get into the air first before this one) but maybe this weekend as its suppost to be a rain free weekend. Manage to run the setup and here is what I have got in the way of numbers with the setup I have.
Total weight with batteries ready to fly:10lbs-14 ozs (I have a 2s4c4000 setup for the motor and one 2s3700 for the receiver/servos on a BEC)
Power is light at 1585 watts, 58 amps draw with a 20/10 APCe prop and 8/4000 30c pack.
I did have to place the battery packs behind the wing tube for balance as I only used a single servo in the tail for the elevator and have the rudder on a pull/pull setup under the canopy. Will post after I get this one up about the flight. John

Re: Anyone flying one of these Peak Models 25%Yak55SP?

Well got out today between the rain and must say I was very happy with the flight until my controller started to actup for me(about 4 mins into flight). Not sure what happen but on a downwind pass and at the end the the runway my controller cut out. Not sure but I did a fast reset but it didn't come back on and I was forced to land in the tall grass. Bent the landing gear and cracked the cowl but other than that its all fine. Got it fixed in a couple min's as well ran the motor up as I got it back to the pit and it was all fine so not sure but I plan to find out what had happen. As to the flight I was really surprised with the handling of the plane through out the flight as it has more than enough power. Knife edge flight was great as there was no need to correct for anything as it didn't pull to the canopy or try and tuck to the gear it was just nice and straight.
Inverted flight, four point rolls, inside and outside loops are all clean and I think it should be a great flyer after I sort out the controller problem. So this one is a keeper for sure. John
