New HET motors T29 and Tsunami controlers.
Eh guys my new box of goodies came.
I've got a little test data from HET. And I'll work on some more this weekend. http://www.oilmanelectricrc.com/oilm...es/2912-10.doc And the pic that I have... I should have put the T5/3D in the line up too..oh well. You'll notice a little wear and tear on the T motors with labels. These ones are my demos. |

The Tsunami 30 controlers arrived at long last. Along with more Tsunami 10's
The 30 has USB port readily accessable via pig tail. The Tsunami10's port is covered with shrink wrap. You can cut it away and plug in but unfortunately this voids the warrenty. The tsunami 10s are second generation now with smaller PCB and heat sinks on both sides. |

Yup we have a few T6's left. I have not been ordering a ton at once. Trying to get into a 2-4 week order cycle so we don't end up with obsolete stuff.
The controlers have a USB port so you can hook up to your PC and make changes to setings quickly. You can set voltage cut off, soft start, over temp protection, throttle down on low voltage, motor stall protection, RPM control, RPM limitation and so on. Now there is a procedure for doing this with your TX. But it's time consuming. I plan to us the USB link with my laptop at the field to change voltage cut off when switching between battery types at the field. Oilman. |

Please allow me to spam you all a little more.
I found some pics. I'm just leaving them as attatments. I think thats better becuase theres still a lot of people out there on dial up. So should load faster. I found a pic showing the size diference on the Tsunami 10's. I have to weigh them yet to see if any lighter. And found some pics of what the PC program for the controler looks like. Haven't tried it yet myself. |

Do you need a program to view this info on your PC?

Ya I believe so. I just got my first USB cable in to look at. I have been putting it off since I thought it was a solder on deal. But now that I have it here I see that its a plug and play. I down loaded some stuff and will endevor to get it figuredd out this weekend. The sceen captures above are from the interface program.
