To avoid downtown traffic, go through duke point to Tswassen, take hwy 10, there are a number of ways to get up to the trans canada, 176th is the closest, but it has a helluva blind merging lane unless they have changed it...200th street in Langley might be a better bet...Get on the trans canada and follow it through to Hope. Just past Hope you merge onto the Coq (have your $10 ready) take it right through to Kamloops. Keep on the highway towards Salmon Arm (not Jasper!) and about an hour later you will see signs for Pierre's Point and Sandy Point... SP is the second of the two and there is a flea market operation on the corner, turn left there (traffic permitting) and the road leads right to the campsite....

Note the train tracks as you cross them...you will be reminded of them several times during the night

Get onto Hwy. 1 and go to Hope, then the Coquihalla to Kamloops, keep going east, and Sandy Point is between Sorrento and Salmon Arm.
Once you spot Pierre's point (on the left side of the road) the next is Sandy Point, turn left and follow the road across the RR tracks and a couple of minuets later you're there!

It's about 45 mins to an hour east of Kamloops

Cheers, Dave..

[quote="rcbart"]I'l be there on Sunday and WILL have rum, not for the whole campsite though.

Save some so I can light my campfire, gas is too expensive, besides, everyone looks to see who made the loud WHUMP noise followed by fire !
