black and decker lithium


       Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
so i saw these black and decker new tools with lithium batteries. they are 7 volts but i dont know how many mah.

im just wondering if these are the same as those dewalt batteries, these go for about 45 in canadian tire with a charger and i was thinking if this could work in cars. anyone know anything about these?

I think they're LiMoly.. same as the milwuakee V28...

the dewalt packs are best price/performance.... only drawback is the odd shape and 2300 mAh capacity...

the black & decker li packs are actually a123 nano li's but they are a ner smaller 1100mah cell,
i am going to use these on my 85cc gasser for the electronic ignition system

that's awesome... it's good to know.. atleast you can charge them guys fast... but why are they only 7 volt packs, that's why I think they are LiMoly.. they max out @ 3.5 volts.. A123 max out @ 3.65 Volts.

black & decker is trying to keep things simple for the average user, there main customer is the home consumer, not contrators

and yes they are definately a123 lithium nano particle cells

That's awesome! but for the RC guys, for the same price, might as well use these... it even have a little bit more capacity... and a 20C discharge rate..

new cell subc 23 X 43mm at 3.2V lifepo4
