O.S. .18 CV-RX in a Savage?

Hey all! Just wondering if any of you have or know someone who has put a .18 in something like a Savage SS ? I originally bought my OS .18CV-RX for my MT2, and it is so powerful that it pretty much destroyed the front end (good times I tell ya! ). I'm just wondering if it would be asking too much from a .18 to put it in a 1/8 monster... Anyone?

lol "take THAT you damn spur gear!"

I was convinced that the cvrx could take on the bigger trucks (what a kick-ass engine!), but I just wanted to be sure... Sad that I have to buy a new truck to go around the engine I just bought :P

Thanks for the info!

os .18 in a savage ss

i have a savage ss and the motor that came with the kit was a .25 size so putting an .18 size wouldnt do any harm. you might have to find out if a smaller size motor will bolt right in or if you have to modify the truck to make the .18 fit. try this website www.savage-central.com its a site with all savage hop ups and mods. you probably find out if you can use your os .18 motor. personally id go with a bigger motor than an .18. the newer savages have .28 size motors and you can get even bigger ones. depends on how much you want to spend. lol
