Hi again,

The box that I made were usually 4' x 8' and 2' heigh, they weight around 80# and with the help of mini-van cylinders, only about 5# was needed to start the lift, i did had to put a safety pole ( old broom handle) next to one of the cylinder to prevent the wind from pushing the box down. on smaller doors or panels, you could use smaller cylinder, Canadian Tire have a good choice, some for snowmobile hood and small car hatchback.

I also made the trailers to go with the box, I use 13" wheels and axle from small cars and for the suspension I like to use Firestone Air-ride spring, they are made to go up to 100psi but for an rc trailer you only need about 15 psi and the trailer rides on air so the models don't get all bang-up. the same trailer can be use to haul a atv (without the box) and you only need to put 45 psi in the air-ride, you also dont need shock absorbers.
