Yup,

Though a test was sprung on her during her first flight of the day today by the CFI and the Wings Director, she came through with flying colors and was greasing in landings. Traditionally the newest pilot earns the honorary title "Most dangerous pilot". She held that title for 11 full minutes because a test was sprung on Fodder's wife right afterwards and she came through as well.

Now my family can fly together anytime (though I think I gotta practice more now to keep up )

Proud Dad, that's me

Bob

ps Congrats to Fodder's wife Sabine as well (Fodder has to practice more too )

Congratulations to both. This sounds much tougher than my test. I was tested while unawares of what was going on. Instructor kept me flying, landing and taking off and then when finished my first instructor came over and shook my hand and handed me my wings. I know, what a feeling.

My son flew with us for a while (he's only 32), got his wings, but is too busy to fly.

Anyway, Congratulations again.

Now, Dad, she'll be needing that 1/4 scale Ultimate Bipe (you know, the expensive ARF one) with a 3W twin for power.

Maybe she'll share it with you. :P

Daughter earned here wings? Oh Man, I tried to get my sons interested. They came out to the field a few times but no go. You lucky dog!

Congratulations to your daughter. I'm sure Dad must be very proud! I would love to see more girls/women get into the hobby. A lot come out to the fields and watch the boy friend or hubby fly. Getting out to the field is half the battle. Now lets try and get a transmitter into their hands and let them experience the thrill of flight first hand.

Way to go Nuker! Good for you man!!!
