That looks better! Gotcha about the doc and knots, I'll make sure I don't get him / her to help with the rib stitching on my Cub.

Here's today John.... Sure would be healing a lot quicker with a better, tighter stitch grouping.

Re: Prop Bitten......Graphic

Given the extent of the damage and the time elapsed the healing I see indicates a healthy person on the mend. But! more stitches to close the wound would be a huge improvement.

Short of keeping the wound scrupulously clean and returning to the doctor with a suggestion that more is better all I would consider (non medical advice, red neck fix only) is to use bandages to pull the worst areas together for the night and leave the area open during the day.

Gotta watch for infection though, there's nasties around and too much bandage may give them a place to grow ..... as do open wounds.

I'm at a loss Curt, if you are not happy then seek a second opinion.

Re: Prop Bitten......Graphic

A veterinarian would have done a much better job than that! Sorry about your mishap and hope you heal up quickly. When flying all my planes including Giants I use a chicken stick to start my engines and use an aero mate to hold my planes back so they can't lurch forward at you, has saved me from injury a couple of times. We have spoken on these issues before on RCC. Hopefully some who don't feel the need for safety devices will learn before this happens to them.
