Re: 1/4 Scale Cub - Door & Interior

I glued a door stop with a metal tack to bond with the magnet & hold the lower door closed. Upper door fitted, covered with WorldTex and now ready to epoxy the upper hinges to the fuselage. I'm pretty sure where I'm going to place the magnet for the upper door . . . just need to stare at it a while longer.

Re: 1/4 Scale Cub - Door & Interior

Thanks David. It's time consumming but I'm having a lot of fun. Today I installed the instrument panel. Below is the pilot's view. I modified a panel from a Hanger 9 1/4 Cub.

Re: 1/4 Scale Cub - Door & Interior

I custom built a seat for the pilot. Now I have to see if I can fit the pilot into position and strap him in somehow

Nice and cool in the workshop today so I managed to fit the pilot into the cockpit.
