Evidently I should have just stayed in line and waited it out. Always hard to know in those situations whether to hold and wait or turn around and go back. Problem with Mackinac is there is no other detour except all the way back. I did enjoy most of the drive from SSM to Sudbury as I have not done that for almost 25 years. However the storms in southern Ontario made the journey interesting.

Re: Noic

Bill I applaud your enthusiasm and the drive to Sudbury was fun for me too as I hadn't done that in a few years. Seems like all the horrible weather was just south of us. Glad you made it home safe and sound. Thanks again for all your help. It was a memorable weekend for sure!

Re: Noic

Lee - I thought it was a great idea to be able to present the award to you at NOIC. Just FYI there are two people who were driving forces to make sure you were recognized for all of your efforts, Rick K and Brendan made a lot of this happen. However the committee readily agreed and you certainly deserve to be recognized for all you have done. I am glad it was a memorable weekend for you !

Re: Noic

I just want to say thanks for a great time in the Soo. I can't wait for 2016 and to get back up there again. Craig and the gang did an awesome job of keeping everything running smooth and was well presented. The field is extremely nice and the scenery is great.

BTW Nice mobile workshop pic...

Re: Noic

Craig and all your crew, you did a terrific job. I had a great time and one of the biggest thrills of the weekend for me was finally flying with Bill and Craig. That was a goal of mine since I started flying IMAC and met you guys. Too bad Frank couldn't attend or that would have been the icing on the cake for me.

I Hope we can fly a lot more together and perhaps collectively we can help the team in Saranac in the Fall.

I also got a chance to watch the Basic and Sportsman pilots fly and all of them will be forces to recon with in the not too distant future. Great job guys and keep up the practicing.

Brendan

Re: Noic

Brendan - was a highlight for me also. Had a great time flying with you and really appreciated Hugh's assistance. We will get Frank back soon I hope and then we can have some good fun. Great scenery, great friends, great weekend.

I HAD some, well many with me but i guess I was out looking in the lake for my plane.

I THOUGHT everyone KNEW to try me first? LOL!

I thought the contest was run superbly by the Soo Modlers but I think the Lake SUCKS!

Thanks to ALL that helped recover what they could.

Won't make Ottawa but shooting for the NCFR Finals @ Saranac!
