Can your local hobby shop (if there is one) not order it for you?

Our local shop ships everything to Buffalo and goes there once a week to pick things up. If its something he can't get, he lets us ship to his US address and charges us about 15 bucks to bring in back, plus any duties etc.

Re: Shipping from Tower hobbies in the US?

Ordered som electronic components and the only shipping option to Canada was their "standard international fee" which was quite reasonable. Phoned to cancel the order because of the exorbitant brokerage fees charged to the recipient on delivery. Their response was there should NOT be any further fees as their contract with UPS takes care of all fees? We will see when the product is delivered.
