Well sorry, to most of Canada in general... Here I was Making fun of your snowy weather. Posting nice sunny pictures of Victoria in January. Feb and March..Showing how are flowers were all blooming during your storms... Well I was punished today for my behavior ... As you can see on this April 19th day.... Please forgive me I'll never make fun of your weather again (well maybe next year, just a little bit).... Looks like I'll be finishing the Bellanca today, guess it's not all that bad... I tell ya it's been a weird year for weather....

Hughes500 with that amount of snow I don't know what to do... I've just gone to the corner of my bedroom and curled up into the fetal position and am crying like a little school girl..... I won't even go to my garden shed in the picture for fear of getting stranded there for a few days...

LOL, that is hilarious!!! Parts of Sask got slammed last night to. I heard Saskatoon got pounded pretty good. Nothing here in Nokomis other than i could fly a stone kite today!!! My cousin was living out on the island when they got slammed with that snowstorm several years back. He said it was a riot watching people trying to get around.

I guess you had to phone emergency services and tell them someone had vandalized your Volvo MGB with sno-cones.

Re: Sorry Sask and Ont

I didn't realize that Victoria BC had such a short spring! Sunny and warm for Feb. and March with flowers blooming. April 2" snow, there goes the flowers

Actually here in South Western Ontario, its absolutely gorgeous weather today, hardly any wind, sunny and warm for the last couple of days now. Now if only the flying field didn't have 4" of mud, we could get out flying.

I had thought the smilies and spell check was no longer available but I finally found them, with a little help from my friends and all is good again. Most of the options we had before are here, you just gotta do a bit of searching to find them. Now that being said, I really miss my "Trader Feedback" and hope that will soon be available again!!

Well I had my son move the table out to the deck for me as the weather was not to bad. My grandaughters had lunch outside thursday and I woke up this morning and there is 6" of that white stuff on top of it. It is still coming down and we still have a couple more days to go apparantly.
The only ones that are smiling around here are the farmers.

Angry Re: Sorry Sask and Ont

I went to the club field last Sunday pm, but the wind was out of the south, which makes for awful takeoff and landing conditions because we get a lot of turbulence from a bluff of trees south of the landing strip....it's still early inthe season so I chose to wait. Wednesday was good, but no time. Thursday was 17 and light wind and by then we had heard the snow forecast, so I went out at about 5:30 pm for a bit.....got in two good flights with my trusty Showtime 50, it is ssssoooo good to get at it again. Stormed last night we have a couple inches of wet snow/ice - temp supposed to ber +7 today, so I hope most will melt before we get the next wave tomorrow. YUK However....I am spending ALL day today and a good part of tomorrow in the shop finishing up two new airframes so when this all clears up I'll be loaded for bear OH YEAH !!!
