I got the turtledeck blended into the fuse sides tonight and went to town on edge-gluing!!!

* Hinge stock on rudder and vertical fin
* Rudder edged
* Front face on turtledeck

Tomorrow night will be a full night of sanding and the plane should really come together

Hi Trevor, your build is looking great. look forward to the covering.
As promised here are some photos of the Cuda. Only base colour on the fuse, some trim to go, and then the painting.

Our good friend Wingburner has given me the ultimate challenge for this covering scheme....

* Pearl white base colour (pearl will show any flaw that exists + the white will show any discoloration of the wood, so I've been trying to match all of the grains in the sheeting and surface prep will have to be flawless!!!!!)

* Metallic Teal secondary base colour (a dark metallic is like having a black car - if there's a spec of dust of a flaw, you'll see it!!!)

* Cub Yellow trim colour (this will be the enjoyable part of the covering - cub yellow is fun to work with)

* Metallic Charcoal trim colour (the metallics are really tough to apply overtop of monokote without getting airbubbles/imperfections - the windex method here is critical).

Should be fun!!!!!
