Well the first bashing is in the books seemed to work out well for all the guys that came out for some tuning and testing.
I on the other hand lasted for only 2 laps before touring met stadium truck, at least I gave back what was done to me.
I'll let the other members of the club tell the rest.
Cann't wait to get out again

PS. Hats off to Mike H for tearing apart a LST with some grace and style.

I have to agree, yesterday was great. Good to get some hard bashing in to find all the bugs in a new build-up. THere was a great turnout yesterday, great to see all the new faces, as well as all the same old ugly ones....lol

Now for the carnage list....

2---LST meets rock incidents (Mike H's looked worse)

1---XXX-NT

1---HPI Touring car

1---T-maxx clutch bell

1---T-maxx popped drive shaft

The most dramatic wreck of the day happened on the oval. One high speed touring car, going clockwise met one xxx-nt going counterclockwise. The crunch was sickening, and both limped away with busted arms, etc....

Can't wait to do it again.

Mike

Newfy,

Thanks for the pics,
I wish we had a video of Mike H continuing to flip the LST and grinding the head of the motor, It would probably make all the racers that put zip ties on the heads to keep them shiny and new looking, SICK.

Glad to have helped out where I could.

Yup, had a blast too. Went over the other side of the road and played in the dirt all afternoon. I am getting 12 minutes to a tank, and not running lean, gotta love the 1/8 scale tank. hardly any variation in tune from full to empty either.

THe Predator is working well, few more bugs to take care of, but other that that i am pleased. Now to get it on a track. If the weather is calling for nice this weekend I may head to a track somewhere. How is yours for running Izzy?

My track is in not too bad of shape, still very runable if there was going to be interest in using it as a bashing track this summer I'll try and keep it up as best as I can. I was even thinking about taking John up on his offer to bring the tractor up to smooth it out. I should have lots of dirt to build with after May 2 when they dig out for the basement .

Let me know and I will give it a quick rake over.

Glad to hear Mike H hasn't lost his touch! Too funny.

Nice pictures!

Closest I got to Bashing this past weekend was opening my shed for the first time since the fall and looking at my poor cars sitting there shivering in the cold and dampness of the shed... I'll have to give them some TLC
