As posted previously, our leader/founder Viper got permission from the Town of Richmond Hill to run our rc's at Richmond Green park by the skateboard park. Hopefully we should be able to run there for a long time as long as we are mindful of pedestrians and do not run nitro after dark.

Richmond Green is located on the northwest corner of Leslie and Elgin Mills.

We meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights when the warm weather arrives.

All are welcome with both on/offroad nitro/electric vehicles.

Last year we had about 4 guys out on average and we hope more will show up this year.

We usually set up a track with cones. There is also lots of room for speed runs/bashing. I always bring my 2 big ramps with me for some jumping action.

Hi Scott, I am new to the forum and to RC. Over the winter I bought a Stampede 4x4 which I have now converted to a Slash lcg . I hope to get to the park at least a few times once it warms up. What time of the day do people start showing up?

I try to get there just after six like F34 mentioned.
Hope to see you there Randal. If you get there early and no one is there just wait around and one of us will probably show up by 7:00.

The skate park is located at the North West Corner of Richmond Green and the turn off to it is where the park road switches from north/south to east/west.

I just read a post from last year and realized that F34 is Luke.

Hey Luke, I hope to see you at the Green more this year.

Luke usually runs the 1/5 scales (5B 5T) and goes to races quite often.

As I mentioned in the original post, all different kinds of rc's show up at the Green.

That's just up the road from me, I'll have to come by for sure! Is it all pavement, or is there some offroad terrain as well?

It is all pavement, however that does not stop some of us from launching off of my large ramps.
