Hi Jason
Somehow It seems to help in a knife edge, If you imagine the position of the SFG during a knife edge, the angle of the upper one seems to fight gravity.
Aeronautically, I have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm just guessing but it works on the Arrow.

Re: Blue Foamie

Interesting. I'll have to try it on my Phat Hawk. I added SFG's, but made them parallel to the fuse and it works great. Adding them has virtually eliminated pull to the canopy in KE, but more importantly, in high alpha wing rock is practically non-existent and I can hit close to 30 or 40 degrees and slow right down to a crawl... and even gradually lift into a hover at a snail's pace. It's awesome! I can't wait for the next time we get to fly together - I will get you on the controls to see what you think .

Cheers,
J

Re: Blue Foamie

Finally got my computer to let me put a video of my Arrow together:

Most of the video was taken with a small HK camera taped to the antenna of my transmitter. The other bit was with the same camera on very small tripod.

I hope you enjoy the video

Thanks Jason
I also found that the Arrow is very solid in a torque roll. As you can see in Xavier's video, it can fly very slow, even inverted, so far I love it.
I can hardly wait to fly your Hawk.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Xavier
I love your video, nice flying. The gym looks busy and it looks like you're all having a great time.
Thanks for taking this video

Thanks... yes, it's been 2 years of modding it, but I think I finally have a good platform for making alterations/morphing from. The SuperHawk still exists in new form... Phat Hawk.

How would you compare your Arrow to your Axis?

Thx,
J

I like both but I prefer the Arrow, the speed brakes are smaller and easier on the aileron servo, the increased wing area allows it to fly slower, other people might have different opinions but that's ok too...

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks for letting me try it out. It's a very nice flying plane. Another winner from Foam Star Models.
