Quanum 2.4 Ghz. Battery Telemetry instructions?

I purchased a Quanum 2.4 Ghz. Battery Telemetry system from Hobby King and either I didn't get instructions or have somehow misplaced them.

IF anyone has the instructions for one of these systems, could you please tell me how to go about doing the binding of the Rx to Tx of the system? (Not (quite) the same as binding a 2.4 Ghz Radio Tx & Rx)

I would very much appreciate your help with this. Thank you in advance! G.M.

Re: Quanum 2.4 Ghz. Battery Telemetry instructions?

Gary,

No manual available that I know of. However, here are the binding and rescan steps:

Binding:

1. Hold down transmitter bind button while connecting the batteries balance plug.
2. Once the red light begins to flash, release the bind button.
3. Now hold the BIND button and turn the receiver on. Wait for the Quanum load screen before releasing the BIND button.
The system will now be paired & you can view the battery level in Realtime.

Rescan:

When changing transmitter battery pack the receiver’s system may need to re-scan for the transmitter. Press the BIND button once to activate the scanning process.

Hope this helps

Re: Quanum 2.4 Ghz. Battery Telemetry instructions?

Leopard1,

Absolutely, yes my friend, this helps tremendously. Thank you so much for the reply and detailed instructions. I didn't have a clue how to bind it and had you not come to the rescue, there was no way I could use this device.

Do you have one of these telemetry systems? IF so, how do you like it? I hope it works as well as advertized, as it will be a great tool to keep precise track of the battery power while flying instead of having to time each flight and still not knowing how much power has really been used or remains.

Thank you so much again. I appreciate your kindness in taking the time to help!
