Despite the claims of no old boys group,it's there and it's strong and we all got suckered by it.

So, are you saying that the last investigation was not a whitewash/setup???

I'l bet you a 100 donuts you'r wrong and I'll donate the $100 to MAAC when I win.

Karl, you seem to forget that the executive established the committee to investigate some serious allegations. There was more than one person on that committee. They submitted their finding to which was accepted by the group. From what little information has come out,we do know that certain procedures were not followed. As to rumors of other possible issues, not having the information,I will not comment. However,by the comments made by certain individuals here trying to minimize the report and actions of those identified in Mr.Dodds letter,I'll take the donuts please! Canadian Maple from Tim's.

I'm somewhat curious as to how or who would have;

1st --> initiated said complaint / was it from within the board?
2nd --> was it on the heels of some other event (s)?
3th --> who authorized such an investigation and who chose the investigators?
4th --> was this an issue previously dealt with in some other fashion? If yes, why was it rehashed?
5th --> what credentials did those chosen as investigators have to perform such a function

Finally, if this was such a serious breach that prompted a president to resign with such dramatic flair........why would the board be investigating themselves?

.....quite frankly, stinks of the usual petty personal bs spinning out of control.

What's the next step?...... Bringing in the human rights commission because somebody's feelings got bruised?
......or maybe that is the fallback position if the initiator doesn't get his /her way?

Re: What's your MAAC Zone Director's Agenda

How about bringing in an independent investigator and a professional auditor to review all practices, procedures and outcomes in the last 18 months to determine if the organization is functioning according to its operational mandate particularly where our funds are concerned?

If I'm understanding correctly, you are alluding to this.

Hi Ian,

Crow won't taste any better with Canadian Maple.

I don't believe that the committee's finding was accepted, that was one of the reasons for Dodd's resignation.

I don't see anyone identified in Dodd's letter, only unproven allegations. What some people here have asked for is transparency and an independent investigation, I'd like to see that too. No one has tried to minimize anything, on the contrary, read between the lines of what Sharpy01 and Dave Larkin have written, it's not hard to connect the dots my friend, not hard at all.

Get a life
I assure you KK is not anti MAAC, quite the contrary.

I understand your concern for Maac seeing as you need the insurance portion from Maac more then most, as your latest flight video with attest too.
Keep at those landings, they will get better.

Ronnieo, looks like you jumped out of the way just in time, good save!!!!!
