Which CYCLIC servos for the rex 450?

I have been on the hunt to find out what are my options. Digital especialy
CYCLIC:
S65xx seems to be the most popular. I did locate futaba S3156 but I have read that the horns are not that good and they have a weird spline not compatible with much out there. Then I hear about the Hitec S5065 the digital version of the S65 but after a year+ of carrot dangling they are still not out. I am looking for something close in specs but running out of ideas. Then I located the HD-2213MG from Power HD, impressed with the specs and they use the same spline arrangement as the above Futaba but reputation and availability???.

Can some of you post what you have on the swash and if you would get them again. The tail is OK I am more than happy with the choices out there.

Thanks

I use 65MG or 65HB on both my 450s and am pretty happy with them. Until the 6065 comes out they are the standard.

I must say the 65MG's are the best in my opinion. I strongly suggest getting the metal gear servos, as the other ones will strip in a crash. I managed to take out all three gear sets in one crash using the karbonite gears.

HS65HB - Carbonite gears, good for most flying conditions
or
HS65MG - for harder 3d a little more durable

Does appear that the S65 is the 450 standard....
Oh well.

Thanks

Try hyperion. All eRC has them. I have the big ones in my TRex 600 (not flown yet- so no data to provide you). USB programmable with an optional usb programmer, seem to get good reviews.

The ones I have seem real powerful and fast.

Yeah, I spoted those the other day DS9 or 11. The 11 all work with 6V and programable for various rx and fix some centering problems.

I think I will get those. Still in the build phase, I know slow. So I will wait until the last minute.

Re: Which CYCLIC servos for the rex 450?

Shipping within a day or two and the package arrived to Cold Lake the following week.

The servo arms seem to be of what I would consider average construction. They are not weak. Useable, but a die-hard might want aftermarket.

I used them on my TRex. Haven't flown it yet, though so again- no data.

Don't just take my word for it, I'd hate to lead you astray. Do a net search. I couldn't turn up anything negative.
