Re: CC-177 Globemaster 3

What size are the components (fans/ESC/battery)? Who makes it? Will it have retracts?
Cheers Eric

Re: CC-177 Globemaster 3

Here's a quick shot of it

The esc's are 4x 40 amps ,driving 55mm fans ,and i'll be using 4cell 3300-4000mah bats.
the label at the top of the instructions say it's made by Tian Sheng, i purchased it from PW-RC.com

And as for retracts? well it doesn't come with them but i'm sure after a few flights i'll try to figure something out.
The mains are not scale as they are 2x2x2x2 on each side, when the" real deal" is 3x3, so new custom trucks might be in order.

I just might cut the big flaps in though, and see just how slow i can get it to fly

Re: CC-177 Globemaster 3

New years would be cool
The monsoons should subside by then but it might be snow by then too

Here are a few more pics of the LG mounts, the front gear mount/battery access
hatch the mess of wires from the wings and the 4 esc's and numerous wires

There is a good possibility for retracts as there is lots of room under there and inside the a/c , but REALLY just want to get it up and flying first.
