This jet only flys well straight and upright. Two more flights later and we are "back in the shop".Banking more than 15-20 deg and this jet drops out of the sky.

On my scratch own-design Zips I found that a gyro on the ailerons made a great big difference in the fly-ability. Made it a pleasure in fact. Tex.

Sounds like it was nose heavy. The F-100 would do the same until you moved some weight aft. Properly balanced it flies very nice and a steep bank is no different than any other plane.
Cheers

Re: Cf104

I am still waiting to maiden it. Not a good winter for flying here. I have a forward cg as i am using 2650 4cell batts and are a lill heavy but I can adjust cg once I see how it flies.
I bent the lg closer to the cg to assist rotation as I read there was an issue with the rotation.
I had the GAD F104 a few years ago and it was a nice flyer. But when it got too slow it would flat spin and no rudder to help pull out.
