Any rev or part of a rev in any direction.....It has to be completely random. Or if there is calculated motion it has to look random and not to predictable.
The speed of the revolution is more important to my project, 10RPM is the right speed.
If you know of small hobby motor that can do 10-RPM (or close) without a gear box....Let me know.

The awkward part is the random timing requirement.....
The slow speed without a gearmotor is also awkward, most of these small motors have very little torque at such low speeds.
I have in mind a similar requirement for a toy I wanted to build. The best I could come up with is to use a stepper motor, and use a PIC microcontroller to drive it. With the stepper motor you have full torque at speeds down to 0, with the PIC you could create an algorithm for random timing. You could use a 12F629 PIC (from Microchip), which is an 8-pin IC (very small), plus you would need a driver chip to source enough current for the stepper motor.
You have 2 problems:
1. You said you don't know about electronics, this is as electronics as it gets!
2. Stepper motors are not very efficient, battery life might be too short.
