Hi Eveyone,

Can someone tell me when I should expect my issue of the printed magazine? Or does MAAC even offer the magazine anymore?
Just rejoined MAAC after a few years away.

Thanks

Ron

Re: MAAC Magazine

Hi Ron,

The MAAC magazine should be coming out any day now.
It was delayed due to the year end financial report. And waiting for the auditors to finish everything and get it back for this issue.
These reports are required to be published to the members for the upcoming Annual General Meeting in April.

I hope this helps

Re: MAAC Magazine

You should see your printed copy in the next week, by the end of next week for sure.

Re: MAAC Magazine

Mine arrived on April 2. Haven't had much of a chnce to read it except for the obituary for John McMillan (MAAC 24L), and I thought how many original members are still around?

The oldest MAAC members that I personally know are Frank Anderson (former President) and John Cook. I ran into John at the Aurora Swap Meet and we compared notes on our modelling activities and some of John's Grasshopper and similar designs as well as some spectacular crashes and flying that he'd done over the years.

I'd like to see some sort of wall-of-fame about the oldest twenty members if possible.

Re: MAAC Magazine

Just renewed my membership

I better not be getting any MAAC magazine in the mail. I suggest more folks write and tell them we will read it online and not waste $ printing and mailing and garbage hauling.

Re: MAAC Magazine

Printing, mailing and recycling would be more the case Scott. Eliminating all 3 of those would put quite a number of people out of a job.

Re: MAAC Magazine

I know this isn't a vote thread but I'd love the option of selecting an online version. I think it would keep the costs down, especially with the higher postage rates in effect now.
